Oversized Height Cargo Transport Project
From Bandar Abbas, Iran to Turkmenbashi, Turkmenistan
📍 Origin: Bandar Abbas – Special Cargo Terminal
📍 Destination: Port of Turkmenbashi – Industrial Zone
📅 Execution Date: Winter 2025
📏 Cargo Dimensions: Height 6 meters – heavy load
🚚 Fleet Type: Ultra-low bed trailer (Low Bed) + Route Escort
Project Overview:
In this project, our company undertook the transport of an exceptionally high cargo, measuring 6 meters in height, from Bandar Abbas to the port city of Turkmenbashi in Turkmenistan. Due to the cargo’s unusual height, the operation required precise route planning to avoid overhead barriers, bridges, and tunnels, along with special transit permits and the use of a customized low-bed trailer.
The land transport route crossed into Turkmenistan via the Sarakhs or Incheh Borun border. For certain segments, combined transport options (road–sea) were also evaluated.
Key Actions:
-
Utilization of a customized low-bed trailer with ultra-low platform height to maintain clearance within permissible limits
-
GIS-based route analysis to assess bridges, tunnels, and overhead cables
-
Securing over-height permits from the Iranian and Turkmen road authorities
-
Coordination with road police for escort through sensitive urban and rural segments
-
Installation of safety signage and alerts along residential and high-traffic areas
-
Professional heavy crane loading and secure cargo fastening
-
Final delivery at Turkmenbashi’s industrial site in the presence of the client’s representative
Project Result:
The operation was completed successfully, with no damage or delay. The transport was carried out on schedule with full safety, and the client expressed complete satisfaction. This project once again demonstrated our capability in handling technically demanding oversized cargo with complex route and infrastructure constraints.
